Before you ship

• Submit a repair request first — you'll receive a Repair Authorization (RMA) and shipping instructions. Shipping without an RMA causes service delays.
• Have your serial number, installed software version, and any error messages ready. (Machines with altered, defaced, or removed serial numbers can't be covered.)
• List the accessories you're sending in with the machine.
• Ship in the original packaging where possible — shipping damage from improper packaging is the customer's responsibility.
• Back up any important data first — some repairs (such as board replacements) remove stored data.

Care & preventative tips

• Before shipping anything, call tech support — diagnostic issues are sometimes caused by the vehicle being diagnosed, and we may resolve the problem over the phone.
• Have your product serial number, installed software version, and any error messages ready when you contact us.
• Note: some board-level repairs require an active software subscription to reinstall device software.
